Today I'm reflecting on Jesus's mountaintop/mountainside experiences. Is Jesus's escape to the mountainside after today's gospel episode of feeding the 5000 supposed to remind us of anything? What about other mountain scenes like the Transfiguration? What kind of encounters do characters from the Old Testament have on mountains?
Oh, and today we're half way to 40. :-)
